The Nikisha Priest Band is an up and coming country rock band from Lake Macquarie, Australia. Fronted by Nikisha Priest who has been singing and performing for over 12 years, Nikisha has been a part of the Tamworth Country Music Festival for 3 years and in 2024 graduated from the CMAA Senior Academy in which she was listed as one of the Top 10 Buskers! During 2021 and 2022 Nikisha was a featured singer in Starstruck performing at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre. Nikisha was also featured on the 2024 season of Australian Idol as Kyle Sandilands Wildcard! Backing Nikisha Priest are experienced and talented musicians Micheal Williams on Drums, Pete Gilchrist on Bass, Dom Camillo on Lead Guitar and Shyanne Irwin on Fiddle. The Nikisha Priest band performs country rock hits from artists including Kasey Chambers, Shania Twain, Dixie Chicks, Gretchen Wilson and Carrie Underwood.
