ANZAC Day at Club Stockton
Date: Friday, 25th April 2025
Early Open for Dawn Service Participants
- Club Opens (Temporary): 5:00 AM (Returned servicemen/women only)
- Rum (in coffee/tea) to be served at the main bar only
- Departure for Dawn Service: 5:15 AM (Dawn Service begins at 5:30 AM offsite)
- Club temporarily closes at 5:15 AM while participants attend the Dawn Service at 5.30AM.
Return & Breakfast
- Return to Club: Approximately 6:00–6:15 AM
- Breakfast:
- Menu: Bacon and egg roll served with hash brown and a side of BBQ and tomato sauce
- Price: $15 for the public, complimentary for ex-servicemen and their partners
- Tea and Coffee available
- Availability: 6:00 AM onward
Main Service & Reopening
- Bar Opens: Approximately 6:00–6:15 AM
- Bar Closes: 7:45 AM
- Club Closes for Main Service: 8:00 AM
- Club Reopens to General Public: 9:30 AM
Two-Up
- Location: Willcox Room
- Time: 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Restaurant & Bar
- Restaurant Hours: 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Refreshments After 4:00 PM: Light sandwiches and hot pies ($5) available at the bar
Flag Protocol
- Flags at Half-Mast: From Dawn Service until 12:00 Noon
- Flags Raised to Full-Mast: 12:00 Noon
Courtesy Bus
- Operating throughout the day as needed.
Evening Entry & Closing
- After 5:00 PM: Members only (no new memberships can be purchased at or after 5:00 PM)
- No Entry for Anyone (Including Members) after 6:00 PM
- Closing Time: 9:00 PM (subject to earlier closure if necessary)
Important Note on Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
Club Stockton and law enforcement will maintain a highly visible presence. Anyone appearing overly intoxicated may be refused service or asked to leave. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in ensuring a safe and respectful ANZAC Day.
