Singer/songwriter/guitarist Bree Rusev started songwriting and performing just months after picking up the guitar at age 14. Bree is a regular around the Newcastle music scene and displays a lyrical maturity well beyond her years combined with a distinctive voice and acoustic strings to create a unique sound. Bree gained acclaim for her last single, ‘Goodbye’ by taking out first place in the 2021 International-Songwriting-Competition (ISC), winning the teen category. Bree has supported Jordy Maxwell, Fergus James, played a sold out show with 19-Twenty, was in the line-up with Jack Botts at the Lighthouse Festival with John Butler as the headline act, and with Bakers Eddy and Debbies for the 2022 Surflife Music Festival.
